“Do I need to stop drinking coffee?” is a question asked by many of our new patients. Yes and no, is the answer. Your chemical-laden, sugar-filled, and artificially flavored coffee definitely needs to go. The health advantages of good coffee, however, are numerous. It improves your metabolism, cardiovascular health, digestive health, and contains antioxidants.
Most store-bought coffee is covered in chemicals, artificial flavors, and contains mold. You want to make sure the coffee you are drinking is unflavored, organic, and tested for mold. In our office we carry organic locally roasted coffee as well as another organic rainforest blend that is specially roasted to preserve potent antioxidants and it is thoroughly tested for molds.
